On June 28, 2023, Yushi and Sion were revealed as the newest members of SM Entertainment's trainee team SMROOKIES and have participated in the survival show called 'NCT Universe: Lastart' where both of them were introduced as the fix members to be in NCT new and last unit. Now, Yushi and Sion will be debuting with the upcoming NCT NEW TEAM (tentative name) in 2024.
